Friends of Felix Orinda popularly known as DJ Evolve who was allegedly shot by Embakassi East Member of Parliament have opened up on the type of person that he is.
Many described the young disk jockey as a humble and polite man who could not have sparked a confrontation as it was being alleged earlier on.
Solomon Koko who works for The Standard and also a close friend of DJ Evolve claimed that the DJ was a friendly person who most of the times minded his own business.
“He is a humble boy who went about his business in a calm and friendly manner,” he told The Standard.
Ken Frank who has known the DJ for approximately 12 years pointed out that he was not a violent person.
“He is a polite man and we have never known him to be violent. We met years ago while he was training as a DJ and we have been friends ever since,” Ken Frank stated.
Charles Kamau alias DJ Chally who was once a colleague to DJ Evolve claimed that confrontations were common at the clubs, but was quick to add that it was rare for a DJ to be involved in such confrontations.
“Flying bottles are common and such incidents are well handled by the security team. Most of the time, a patron will come over and say sorry over an incident. We just carry on since we know we are not the targets of their fury,”
