As he was speaking, there were murmurs behind him which got on his nerves, forcing him to react.

He looked behind, anger written all over his face, and warned those trying to disrupt his speech with their childish murmuring.

"You know you are disturbing me, if you cause disruptions, you will...(Unajua nyinyi tumekazana, mukiniharibia mimi muta...), " the visibly angry president said.

Thanks to that firm intervention the murmurs stopped and the president was able to continue with his speech with minimum disruptions.

The President flagged off Sh1.2 billion worth of oil at the Kipevu Oil Terminal effectively sliding Kenya into the ranks of oil-exporting countries.

To welcome him for the event was Mombasa County Governor Ali Hassan Joho.

In his speech, President Uhuru hailed the flag off as a momentous moment in the history of the country.

He said that the exploration of oil in the Lokichar Basin in Turkana had created scores of employment opportunities, promising that locals in areas where the oil deposits are will be the major beneficiaries.

Uhuru also flagged off 136 Kenyan seafarers who will be working in foreign ships.
