Lawyer Ojienda is vying to be reelected as Law Society of Kenya representative in the Judiciary Service Commission.

Lawyer  Ojienda had faced hurdles while trying to submitting his nomination papers and Lawyer Havi, who is LSK member, has been the one pushing till his nomination was accepted.

Kenyans on Twitter, however, started an online campaign to discredit Prof Ojienda through #LSKOjiendasPuppet in an attempt to complain how the Law Society of Kenya members is working for Mr Ojienda despite the lawyer having questionable integrity as a lawyer.

Here are some of the tweets from the #LSKOjiendasPuppet. The views herein are those of the Twitter users.

"Nelson Havi is part of a very dangerous cartel," wrote Minji Minji.

"The once noble profession of law has now been hijacked and overrun by crooks, criminals, scoundrels and leeches purporting to be Professors and what have you," wrote Kipezer.

"The same Prof Ojienda Tom was embroiled in a suspected taxation fraud involving Sh378 million, which includes un-remitted employees’ income tax in a matter before the court. And now we have the courts protecting him," wrote Pretty Kenyan.

"Having Prof Ojienda at LSK, simply means JSC will be consisting of persons of questionable character yet it is the employer of judicial officers who is expected to be beyond reproach. Can you reconcile the contradiction," said Sir Ezer.

"A member of JSC a lawyer at the same time defending his clients in court by securing injunctions barring the DCI from arresting or conducting investigations. This is nothing more than a pure conflict of interest through the manipulation of our justice system," wrote Kevin Munyui.

"The following flooding in Nairobi, the case is filed against Nairobi County by residents of Kibera, Mathare and Kawangware. The residents didn’t know the case was even in court and the final settlement of 42.3 million is collected by Ojienda," wrote Wangari Gaitho.

"We are fixing the ills of our society and we need the support of LSK in rooting out corruption. But this can't happen if Ojienda has captured the LSK in the web of intimidation and corruption, "Mhenga wrote.
