Former Mukurwe-ini MP Kabando wa Kabando has said that Deputy President William Ruto must step aside because he is frustrating President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In a series of tweets on Tuesday, Kabando said it is clear that Ruto lacks the interest of Kenyans at heart claiming that the DP has decided to concentrate on his Presidential bid rather than service delivery.
"I demand that H.E Deputy President Dr. William Samoei Ruto resigns. I know sympathizers will call it witch-hunt and malice, but exit of DP William Ruto from office in PUBLIC INTEREST is inevitable. If this means fall of regime, so be it. For stability, RUTO MUST STEP ASIDE," he tweeted.
Kabando also said that Uhuru knows that Ruto is among the corruption suspects in the country.
The vocal politician also said that Kenyans have waited for so long and now it is time for him to act with immediate effect.
"PRESIDENT UHURU KENYATTA: you know truth on your Deputy. Political Expediency restrains But Kenya sinking coz of MEGA Graft. ACT NOW. Sir, Ask your Deputy to step aside IMMEDIATELY , then A COMMISSION of ENQUIRY into his improprieties. KENYA won’t wait. I WILL SAY MORE SOON," he said in another tweet.
