When you are in love, you like spending most of your time with your partner especially in the early stages of the relationship.
Everyone needs time on their own to re-organize their lives. However, telling this to your partner will raise many questions that can even lead to conflicts and arguments.
It is important to remember that requesting your alone time does not man you have stopped loving or caring for them.
When you request for your own space, make sure you put into consideration the feelings of your partner if not they may think it is a way to get them off your life.
Let your partner know that 'your alone time' is meant to improve and be better for the relationship.
Giving them something as a gift makes your partner know that they are still loved and cared for. Show your partner you will be safe and remind them how much you adore them. He/she will know that the opportunity you grant them is appreciated.
Choose to be sympathetic on their feelings, do not use the word 'space', it sounds commanding and your partner might feel you are not happy spending your time with them. State that you wish to take some time by yourself.
To avoid arguments, you can give some reasons why you have decided to do so, either you are too busy or wish to relax.
