An ODM allied politician based in Gusii region has asked former Sport Cs Rashid Echesa not to blame anyone following his sacking.
Samuel Omwando claimed that Mr Echesa was too incompetent to continue working in government.
"I wish to urge Mr Echesa not to drag anyone into his firing. He was fired during the right time because he has been using most of his time criticizing instead of focusing on his job," he said.
The vocal politician challenged politicians not to link Echesa's sacking to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's influence.
"I have no doubt that some politicians will start claiming that Raila participated in Echesa's sacking. Kenyans must be told the truth that Echesa couldn't deliver towards the realization of the president's Big 4 Agenda," said Omwando.
He lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta for kicking out Echesa saying he should streamline operations in all ministries by sending home lazy and incompetent Cabinet secretaries.
Omwando urged Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama and his Kisii counterpart James Ongwae to follow President Uhuru Kenyatta's footsteps to send home lazy county officers to boost service delivery.
