Flamboyant businessman Zedekiah Bundotich alias Buzeki has come into the defence of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga over the alleged dismal performance of Jubilee.
The opposition leader has been working closely with President Uhuru Kenyatta, supporting his agenda contrary to expectations of many.
With a number of Kenyans questioning Raila's stand, Buzeki now says the former Prime Minister has nothing to do with the current economic situation.
In a tweet, on Thursday, Buzeki said Jubilee used a draconian narrative to paint Raila in bad light during 2017 presidential elections.
"2017 the NARRATIVE was RAO ni mganga, lord of poverty etc , NOW!! Same FELLOWs have KILLED the economy and BROUGHT unmatched POVERTY," he tweeted.
“WAMEJIROGA” jubilee &brigade have Nothing in the TANk left for Kenya. Wakwende opposition. 2022Tai CCM + others," he added.
Jubilee administration has been on the receiving end over its borrowing policy, with the country currently struggling to pay Sh6 trillion debt.
Buzeki ditched Deputy President William Ruto's camp early this year, joining Isaac Ruto-led Chama Cha Mashinani where he's serving as Secretary General.
The businessman accused a section of Ruto's handlers of antagonising his bid for Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat.
