Residents of Nyamakoroto village in Gesima, were left in a rude shock after a man caught his wife in the act with his cousin.
This happened on Thursday evening. Lawrence Nyamechu said he works as a security guard in Nyamira town.
“I have always suspected my wife having an affair but I never thought it could be my cousin," he said.
"I was shocked when I arrived home and found my wife with my closest cousin in my bedroom having sex,” he said.
Nyamechu said he raised alarm to attract members of the public.
"Members of the public arrived witnessed the incident. My cousin, Jared Ongori, was beaten up by residents ,” he noted.
Area assistant chief John Gesami said the man and the woman were surrendered to his office by angry locals while naked.
“It is a shameful incident and I don’t know what has become on women. The woman and her mpango wa kando were brought to my office in their birthday suit.
"Residents resolved that the two should get married because the man has never married before but he is only sleeping with people’s wives in the village,” he said.
Gesami said men should keep watch on their wives who have turned to be prostitutes inviting men to their own houses to have sex there.
