Nakuru businessman Saida Abdalla Azubedi is dead.
According to a family source, the tycoon died in Nairobi and his body is expected in Nakuru today, Monday February 25.
Azubedi has been ailing and was admitted in a Nairobi hospital.His son, Saddam Alzubeidi, confirmed the death.
“Dust to dust ash to ash till we meet again el patron,” he said.
Nakuru Muslim leader Fadhili Msuri said Azubedi will be buried tomorrow.
“He will be buried tomorrow after 4 pm prayers at the Muslim cemetery in Bondeni. Funeral prayers will be held at Bondeni mosque during the 4 pm normal prayers,” Msuri said.
The deceased was among the richest people in Nakuru.
He has left a string of prime properties within Nakuru’s CBD as well as in swanky suburbs like Milimani.
It is his simple lifestyle where he led a squalor life despite being a billionaire that left many baffled.
Despite owning massive property, he never moved out of Bondeni slum.
He also had only one car which was very old.
