This is after it was announced that Jubilee MPs will join their ODM colleagues in campaigning for the former Rongo MP.
According to Nyatike MP Tom Odege, the move is in spirit of reconciliation which President Kenyatta and Odinga are preaching after their historic peace deal.
"The reason for us campaigning together is to show and express solidarity that has been exhibited by our party leaders President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga," said Odege as quoted by Standard.
As the campaigns gain momentum ahead of the October poll, ODM is not leaving anything to chance in its bid to retain the seat which fell vacant following the death of Senator Ben Oluoch Okello. Already, various campaign groups have been formed in a bid to market Ayacko's candidature.
With former Rongo MP Dalmas Otieno out of the race following his appointment as Commissioner with Salaries and Remuneration Commission, Ayacko's main challenger is Eddy Oketch who is vying on Federal Party of Kenya.
