Popular Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi has come out to apologize after he failed to show up for the Miss Kenya USA event that was held early this month in the USA.
Eric Omondi was to host the show alongside his fellow comedian Teacher Wanjiku but he could not make to travel to the USA.
Speaking in a video that he shared on his Instagram story, Eric Omondi clarified that his failure to show up for the event was not the fault of the event organizers.
“Hello guys, Eric Omondi here. Two weeks ago I was supposed to be in Siaro for Miss Kenya, that is the 6th of July and I did not make it and I just wanted to apologize officially o everybody that was affected especially my fans, the organizers and Siaro at large. And I wanted to clarify that this had nothing o do with the even organizers,” Eric Omondi stated in a video that he shared on his Instagram story.
Eric Omondi went ahead to explain that he missed his flight and therefore he was unable to arrive in time for the show.
“I missed my flight I was in Kisumu and my flight from Kisumu was delayed for hours and by the time I was getting to Nairobi I could not catch my flight to the United States of America,” Eric Omondi explained in the video.
Eric Omondi had hosted the previous edition of the show and this month’s edition would have been his second appearance.
