Muslims brethren across the country have today celebrated Eid ul Fitr to mark the end of Ramadhan.
Muslim faithfuls in various corners of the country engaged in prayer, after which they indulged in feasts.
A number of leaders, have sent their message of goodwill to Muslim as they celebrate Eid.
In a Facebook post, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho thanked the Almighty God for journeying with Muslims during the Ramdhan period.
"Just thirty days ago, our Muslim Brothers and Sisters from all over the world embarked on a spiritual journey of humility, patience and prayer. Today, we thank Allah the Almighty, for enabling us complete this blessed month.
"The Day of Eid ul Fitr is a day of great joy and happiness for the Ummah. We are encouraged to enjoy from the Halal bounties that we had refrained from during the month of Ramadhan.
"Such is Allah's Compassion for his servants. May Allaah accept from us our fasts and good deeds," he posted.
