Soy Member of Parliament Caleb Kositany has hit at Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju for disowning the Naivasha retreat Jubilee Parliamentary Group (PG) meeting.
Through a presser, Tuju said that the Naivasha retreat was not a Jubilee Parliamentary Group (PG) meeting and termed it as any other meeting initiated by some party members.
Kositany termed Tuju’s utterances as uncalled for and disrespectful to the Jubilee elected members of parliament.
“We met 173 Jubilee party members of parliament in Naivasha what do you call such a meeting isn’t it a parliamentary group meeting. Tuju should get serious,” said the deputy president William Ruto allied MP.
Kositany who spoke to the press in Eldoret town on Wednesday urged Tuju to respect the leaders since they were elected.
“Tuju should strictly stick to his role and he should know that when we sat in Naivasha if we assume that every Member of Parliament who was there were representing 40,000 voters that is 6.9million voters seated in Naivasha discussing national issues,” Kositany added.
On BBI, Kositany said they will only support it if it will reduce the wage bill.
