Kisauni MP Ali Mbogo alongside Mombasa County Commissioner Evans Achoki, on Thursday toured Kadongo grounds, Junda and Shanzu wards prior to the Deputy President William Ruto's official visit on Saturday, July 7.
Mbogo who was elected on a Wiper Democratic Movement party, disclosed that Ruto would launch the Last Mile Project where 350 homes in Junda Ward will be connected with electricity and 250 others in Kashani area.
"Later on from 9:00am the DP will preside over a mega fundraising at Kadongo grounds in aid of the construction of a state of art Karisa Maitha Boys National school," revealed Menza.
Construction of the school is in honour of the late Coastal political kingpin former cabinet minister, Karisa Maitha.
Mbogo and Ruto have been working together as the DP continues to seek political support from the larger coastal region ahead of the 2022 presidential race.
