Despite registering poor results on the football arena for a long time, until recently when the country qualified for the African cup of Nations (AFCON), Kenya has arguably the largest number of international footballers.
The best among the players is Victor Wanyama of Tottenham.

He currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur. Wanyama has also played for Southampton (2013-2016), Glasgow Celtic (Scotland, 2011-2013), Beershot (Gelgium, 2008-2011), and Helsingborg (Sweden, 2007-2008).
Paul Were
Were is playing for Trikala (Greece, 2019). He also played for Kaisar (Greece, 2018), Kalamata (Greece, 2017), Acharnaikos (Greece, 2016), Lalloni (Greece, 2015) and Amazulu (South Africa, 2014).
