The commentator has been repeatedly attacking the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader on his twitter handle lately, resulting in attacks from Raila's supporters.

However, in a tweet on Sunday, he said that he will keep doing it as he owes his loyalty to the Republic of Kenya, and not Raila's supporters.

He added that he is not interested in being a darling of Raila's supporters, which he said can easily be earned by irrationally praising the opposition chief, which he vowed to never do.

"For me to become a darling of Raila's supporters is very easy. I must not remember what Raila did or said yesterday. I should irrationally praise Raila even he makes mistakes. I should not question anything Raila does. But hey guys am not craving for that. My loyalty is to our Republic," he wrote.

He challenged allies of Raila to follow in his footsteps if the nation is to polish its leadership.

Kisiang'ani argued that praising leaders only make them dictators, adding that the best remedy is to keep them in check.

"My third-rate thinking tells me that when we question the actions of those in leadership we actually make them good leaders. Sycophancy is the hallmark of perpetual dictatorship. Leaders don't become good because we praise them. It is because we criticize them. Wake up RAO guys!" he added.
