ODM leader Raila Odinga and his allies have been told never think you're more Kenyan than the rest.
In a series of tweets on Saturday, political Analyst Edward Kisiangani said that Kenyans are not ready for a referendum to please Raila and his allies.
Kisiangani said that changes in the constitution are not all about Raila and his camp. He asked the opposition leader to state his stand clearly so that he doesn’t mislead Kenyans.
“As a Republic, we cannot change our Constitution to target individuals. We make the constitution for ourselves n for posterity. Raila n his team should never think for a minute that they are more Kenyan than the rest of us. When the time comes he will know our opinion counts too,” he tweeted.
He also said that Kenyans are not ready to support the referendum if Raila wants to use the same to fight Deputy President William Ruto. He further said that the opposition should think about Kenya than anything else.
“Raila filed an interview in Bondo over Xmas with Sammy Ogina if Citizen TV. He said "be patient with us" on BBI. Who are the "us". He said they want to look afresh at the section on PM. If BBI is about Raila's ambition to get power n fight Ruto count majority of Kenyans out,” he said.
