Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has already broken one of his New Year resolutions two weeks into January.
The lawmaker had promised to keep off alcohol and social media this year.
He, however, could not resist the temptation to comment on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s decision to sack Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjiri.
Moses Kuria posted his photo with the fired CS and captioned: "Kenya has started moving."
He also reacted to the sacking of Professor Colleta Suda as the CAS for Education.
He posted on Facebook: “To enhance the roll out of the Incompetency Based Currilculum, i have removed PROFESSOR Colleta Suda as the CAS for Education and replaced her with Zack Kinuthia, HSC.”
Moses Kuria had said that he will not engage in social media in 2020 and even promised to deactivate his account.
“Happy New Year 2020 good people. For those who thought they know me:1. I am deactivation my Social Media Accounts (Except Whatsapp) throughout 2020. See you in 2021. This is my last post of the year 2. I am off alcohol throughout the year 2020.3. Tukutane kwa ground,” he had said in a Facebook post.
In his address to the Nation on Tuesday, Uhuru announced Peter Munya as the new Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri.
While responding to the changes in the cabinet, Kiunjiri said that he is not shocked by the decision of the President to fire him from the office.
