Speaking during an interview on NTV on Tuesday, the senator said that Tuju has failed in his capacity as SG and he should be sent home.

He also said that the leaders from Jubilee have nothing wrong with Tuju working with anyone as long as he delivers his duties as the party official, which he has not done well so far.

“Our calling out of Tuju has got nothing to do with what he was doing at Rarieda, I don't think anybody has a problem with that," he said.

The senator also said that the party doesn’t belong to President Uhuru Kenyatta or his Deputy William Ruto. Cheruyoit also said that the officials of any party must stick to the right code of conduct when discharging their duties

“Jubilee doesn’t belong to Ruto or Kenyatta It belongs to the millions of supporters out there who support the party,” he added.

His remarks come after Deputy President questioned Tuju’s role as a chief strategist in the opposition.
