15 suspects were on Tuesday arraigned before a Kisii Court and charged for being in possession of KCSE examination materials.
The suspects were nabbed on Monday at Monianku area in Gucha South, Kisii County.
It is alleged that the suspects were in possession of Chemistry exam papers which they were photocopying before supplying to students at Monianku secondary school.
Appearing before Kisii magistrate Margaret Nafula, the suspects pleaded not guilty.
They pleaded with the court to free them on grounds that they were being fixed in vain.
Nafula ordered the suspects to be remanded at Nyamarambe police station to allow police to conclude investigations.
The magistrate ordered the suspects to be brought before the court on November 12, 2018, for further directions.
She asked the police to do the investigations quickly within the time the suspects will be behind bars to gather evidence so that the offenders can face the full force of the law.
The magistrate reiterated that anyone who will engage in any exam malpractice will not be spared by the law.
Security of the exams is tight across the large Kisii County.
