South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro on Tuesday told his opponents to work harder to realise their bid to dethrone him in 2022.
Speaking at Manywanda B Primary School, he urged his rivals to go deep into the villages to convince the electorate so that they can vote him out.
"I will not be kicked out easily due to my influence in constituency politics. I wish to remind those seeking to vie against me in 2022 to know that real power belongs to the people," he noted.
The first term MP said his track record speaks for itself, therefore, his rivals have a hard task to send him home in 2022.
He said he has been traversing the constituency issuing development cheques from the CDF kitty to help improve infrastructure in various schools.
"Investing in our children should be through education. The children I am working hard to ensure they learn in a conducive environment are the same people who will help persuade their parents to re-elect me in 2022," he stated.
Osoro was elected on a Kenya National Congress (KNC) party ticket during the August 8, 2017 polls.
