A former Personal Assistant to Governor John Nyagarama was over the weekend attacked for allegedly abusing deputy governor Amos Nyaribo.
Mr. Kepha Mocheche, who now works as Deputy Chief of Staff, is said to have landed into trouble after Nyagarama's son, Sammy, attacked him.
For months now, the former PA has been embroiled in internal wrangles which have seen him even get suspended.
"He was attacked for disrespecting deputy governor Amos Nyaribo. When the governor was away, he committed the offense.
"Actually, that is why he was suspended even before the attack. The son to the governor was furious that the former PA no longer upholds integrity," said a senior official.
He was suspended in June and it is not clear whether he has been recalled.
In July, Mr. Mocheche would yet again land into trouble when DP William Ruto visited Nyamira where he is said to have driven in governor's official vehicle without consent.
Mr. Nyagarama has been away in the US and only returned two weeks ago for the burial of his son, Ndemo Nyagarama.
