An Eldoret court on Tuesday ruled that six men who were found at the grave of Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago’s brother John Kirwa be detained for days as investigations continue.
The six men, according to Daily Nation, were suspiciously found at the grave at 3 am on Tuesday.
It was also reported that the suspects had attended the burial ceremony and this has raised more questions considering their behaviour.
While making his ruling Chief Magistrate Charles Obulutsa said that the suspects will be detained to allow for more investigations.
"It has been proved to me on oath that for the purpose of the investigation into the commission of the offence of trespassing, contrary to the law, it is necessary to detain the six to enable completion of investigations," Obulutsa ruled as quoted by the Standard.
John Kirwa who was an employee of Kenya pipeline was buried on Saturday at his Kuinet home in Soy Constituency.
