Speaking in Mandera Town during a briefing with journalists on Saturday, Roba said some CSs have abandoned their work and are openly politicking.

He said it is wrong for CSs to engage in the 2022 succession politics at the expense of service delivery and development to Kenyans.

"The president should go ahead and sack all the people in his government who are politicking at the expense of service delivery," the second-term Jubilee governor said.

Roba warned that President Kenyatta's Big Four development agenda is likely to stall if some of his ministers continue to engage in premature campaigns.

The governor called on elected leaders to stop premature campaigns and work for Kenyans.

Last week, President Kenyatta warned Cabinet Secretaries against engaging in campaigns.

He asked CSs to spearhead development warning that he will not hesitate to sack those who will defy his orders.

A section of CSs has openly engaged in 2022 debate as succession politics hot up.
