A Cabinet Secretary on Friday told the former Senate Minority Leader to ditch the opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition and join hands with Jubilee to form a formidable outfit which he said would clinch the presidency in 2022.

Eugene Wamalwa, the Devolution cabinet secretary said Wetangula should end the suffering he has been subjected to in NASA and join the Jubilee team.

"Jubilee is a friendly house which my brother Wetangula should join because the suffering in NASA is unbearable," Wamalwa, who was speaking in Bungoma in the presence of Wetangula said.

He said NASAs collapse in looming and Kenyans only need to give the opposition outfit time before it crumbles.

Wetangula has been at loggerheads with the NASA leadership which he accuses of fueling his suffering within the coalition

He was recently booted as the Senate Minority Leader following his differences with other senators especially those from the ODM party.

He was replaced by Siaya Senator James Orengo who is a close ally of opposition leader Raila Odinga. Wetangula blames Raila for his troubles in NASA.
