In a rare occasion, a set of triplets and twins are celebrating exemplary performance in the KCPE exam results that were released early this week.
James Nyamweya, the father of triplets, is still full of joy following masterclass performance of his girls aged 13, who emerged among the best in Nyamira County having done their exams at Eronge Adventist Academy.
Ruth Moraa emerged the best having scored 432 marks while her other sisters Esther Kemunto and Mary Bosibori scored 403 and 379 marks respectively. https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/article/2001303556/triplets-twins-post-surprise-kcpe-results.
Coincidentally, Moraa tied with Ann Kwamboka, a twin while Kemunto tied with two others from the same school.
Yet again, Bosibori, who scored 379 marks, tied with Dan Nyauncho, a twin to Ann Kwamboka, in the results that excited the institution's management.
Moraa wants to be a neurosurgeon, Kemunto a pediatrician while Mary wants to be a radiologist like her mother.
The triplets’ elder sister is a pharmacist, while their second born brother is an electric engineer.
The triplets, who were living together in the same cube in the school, said constant consultation with their teachers, prayers and focus on their weak points made them perform well.
On choice of preference, Moraa hopes to join Alliance Girls, Kemunto Kenya High while Bosibori is optimistic of joining Limuru girls.
Kepha Bwana, the school headteacher, described the trio as hardworking and disciplined students, who always focused on their studies.
