Chris Odhiambo, popularly known as DJ Kriss Darlin left all those in attendance in deep shock when he opted to go down on his knees to seek the endorsement of Raila for the seat after the demise of Ken Okoth.

The reggae Dj asked Raila to stand with him as he seeks leadership because he is one of his most loyal supporters.

"I have heard there are youths in Parliament opposing Baba. Allow a young man to fight with them (Nimesikia kuna vijana wengi kule bunge wanapinga Baba. Niruhusu mimi Kijana mwenzao niende nipagane nao)," he said.

While presenting his nomination papers, the candidate said that he was the best bet for the seat. He promised to deliver if he is given the chance to rise to power.

“The people of Kibra need someone who knows them and knows what they actually need… and that’s exactly what I’m offering. I have been there with them, I was born there, I know what they go through on a daily basis,” he said.

Raila has, however, said there will be no direct tickets for the race.
