Radio presenter Tanasha Donna has finally revealed why her boyfriend Diamond Platnumz has never set foot in her apartment in Roysambu, Nairobi since they started dating.
The 'Tetema' hitmaker was in the country more than three times last year but surprisingly didn't visit Tanasha.
In December 2018, he jetted into the country from Dubai and was picked by Tanasha at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport before staging an electrifying performance at the Thika Stadium. However, he later proceeded to his home country, Tanzania, without making a stopover at Roysambu to visit his queen.
Speaking during an interview on Kiss 100, Tanasha revealed that she spends most of her weekends with Diamond in Tanzania.
She noted that the bongo singer has never visited her at her two-bedroom apartment because he travels with his entire team.
"I spend most of my weekends in Diamond's house. I have tried to have him come to my apartment but it has been hard because he has to come with his entourage that includes security and the whole hullabaloo," she said.
She further explained that the visit would attract a lot of public attention, something that the Tanzanian artist was avoiding.
“This means everyone will get to know that he is around and that is what he wants to avoid," she added.
The couple is planning to get married this year. Diamond had earlier announced that they would get married on February 14, 2019, one year after he was dumped by his baby mama Zari Hassan.
He, however, has since changed the date and has requested the government of Tanzania to make his wedding day a public holiday.
