A day after Raila Odinga suggesting that he's ready for a handshake with former ally cum for William Ruto, the latter now wants to be backed for 2022 polls.
While attending a funeral at Kericho, Raila insisted he is ready to call ceasefire against the DP.
And at Kakamega on Saturday, a day after the two shared podium in Nyamira, Ruto insisted that Raila owes him debt given the support he gave in 2007.
"Kindly pray for me so that these two brothers can support my bid. I am now almost there and the wise thing is to help me get there.
"Last time, I supported them, one became Prime Minister (Raila) and another one DPM (Musalia Mudavadi). Why can't they reciprocate same to me?"
The relationship between the duo has been hot and could with Raila scolding Ruto on Saturday at Narok, accusing him of sabotaging handshake.
For the last two days, Raila and Ruto have shared podium one being in Nyamira before attending Johanna Ng'eno's wedding at Emurua Dikir, although at different times.
