Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has now revealed the amount he has used in trying to return to Kenya after being deported back in 2018.
Speaking to Daily Nation on Monday through email interview, Miguna said that his hustle trying to return to the country has eaten a lot into his pockets.
He noted that he has so far used over Sh3 million in trying to get an alternative route into the country.
“For the eight days, despot Kenyatta has forced me to stay in Berlin, I've spent more than 2,000 Euros (Sh225,450) on accommodation and food,” he stated.
He added: “I used about $2,500 (Sh250,000) to travel to Switzerland, Austria and France in search of alternative means of transportation to Kenya, only to discover that the illegitimate regime of Uhuru Kenyatta has issued red alerts to all airlines using the Kenyan airspace."
The lawyer who has maintained that he will do anything to return to the country has slammed various leaders for disobeying court orders that required the government to return his travel documents to ease his travel back into the country.
He was expected to land in the country on January 7. He was ejected from Air France on the material day and has since remained stuck in Berlin, Germany.
The government has denied issuing a red alert on him. Air France and Lufthansa claimed that their decision to deny him his flight to Kenya was because 'he has history of being an unruly passenger'.
