A man suspected of impersonating National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has reportedly been denied police bond despite making several pleas.
Mr Ombui Oire, a seasoned politician from North Mugirango, was nabbed by the police on Tuesday and hounded to Central Police Station where he was locked up awaiting court trial.
On his Facebook page, Duale claimed that Mr Oire has been running a pseudo Facebook account, masquerading as his personal assistant. In the process, he argued, Oire was soliciting Sh2,000 from unsuspecting Kenyans in exchange of scholarships.
