Raila Odinga's ODM party after all gave Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa seven days to answer misconduct allegations, it has now emerged.
Through chairman John Mbadi, Raila questioned Jumwa's utterances in a meeting attended by DP William Ruto further irritating the ODM boss.
"Further, without reasonable excuse, you have missed two ODM PG besides attacking the party leader.
"The aforementioned utterances and actions amounts to gross misconduct and undermining of party leadership," read the letter in part.
Specifically, Raila took issue with the ODM MP in a rally on July 15th where she was quoted by the media attacking him over partnership with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
She had until Monday to answer the allegations before disciplinary actions would be initiated against her.
The letter was written on July 24th, two days before she was reportedly denied entity to Raila's Nyali home.
Among actions that the party could take against her include kicking her out of the powerful PSC.
