Wajir South lawmaker Dr Mohamud Oomar lost his father Mohamed Oomar.

Gedi expressed her condolences to the MP, calling on God to forgive the father's sins and admit him to His kingdom,

"Innalilahi wainna ilaahi raji'un! I would like to express my condolences to Dr Mohamud Oomar (Wajir South MP) and family for the loss of his father, sh Mohamed Oomar in Garissa. Burial is set for Habaswein.May Allah forgive his sins and admit him into His Kingdom," Gedi's tweet read.

It was not clear what was the cause of death.
