President Uhuru Kenyatta has reportedly summoned all Cabinet Secretaries on Tuesday for a meeting.
Uhuru will be chairing the meeting after three months of ‘silence’ where sources said he had not engaged his ministers.
The last cabinet meeting was held three months ago.
Sources said the meeting will be taking a stock of the Cabinet Secretaries' performance.
There is tension also among the CSs as some fear the ‘new Uhuru’ might decide to drop those seen not to be performing.
The main agenda for today’s meeting remains scanty but privy sources at State House said the President might have called the CSs to warn them over the ongoing war on graft.
“He might be intending to warn the ministers over shielding those mentioned in graft. On Sunday, he said people must be ready to lose friends in order to crack down on impunity,” a source said.
