A Nigerian player is planning to take legal action against a Slovenian team for prematurely terminating his three years contract.
The player who was playing for second division in Slovenia was fired after he impregnated the club President's daughter.
While the player's name is still withheld, four of the Nigerian players playing in Slovenia's second division league are Bede Osuji, Temitope Nelson, Gerald Chiyoke and Sulaiman Adedoja.
It is reported the player had just stayed at the club for only six months before he was involved in the scandal.
According to Ghana Soccer Net, the player has returned to Nigerian for fear of public backlash but is worried about his girlfriend and her pregnancy.
He said the club told him to stay away from the club's premises for some time and eventually fired him after he admitted to be responsible for the pregnancy.
His agent will be heading to FIFA to launch a legal battle against the club to have the player compensated as per his contract.
" My agent called me up and said we should file a case with FIFA that he has a recording of the president saying my contract was terminated for having an affair with his daughter. She's an adult for God sake, we both love each other and decided to have a child," said the player as quoted by Ghana Soccer Net
