Egesa FM boss Nancy Omweri could not hold back her tears when reality dawned on her that fellow co-host, Joseph Mochere was no more.
Mr. Mochere popularly known Okebiro O' Mose, committed suicide on Saturday over what family members relate to 'marriage struggles'.
And on Monday at the studio, Ms. Omweri took time to go on air as music dominated most of the programme.
Later on, she said: "Okebiro, why did you do this? Why just leave like that?"
"You should have spoken out and we try to sort out the matter. Am really stuck," she said emotionally.
For the better part of Tuesday, social media users accused Royal Media Services for 'misusing' employees.
Until his death, it emerged, Mr. Mochere was still a casual despite working in the station since 2016.
His wife, Teresa Moraa, said that he had threatened to kill four family members a day before hanging himself.
"We struggled to contain him. He wanted to stab everyone in the house," she revealed.
