A man was on Monday arraigned in a Nairobi Court for allegedly stealing undergarments from a city supermarket.

Evans Kodiero Sewe was arraigned before Nairobi Senior Principal Magistrate Martha Mutuku at Milimani Law Courts over the crime he allegedly committed on November 1, 2018.

The court was told that the suspect stole two pairs of undergarment worth Sh450 and 480 respectively, a shirt, tee-shirt and socks from Tuskys Supermarket.

He also allegedly stole a suit worth Sh8,495, shoes worth Sh3,995, three vests and a tie, all going for Sh17,810.

The suspect denied the allegations and was released on a Sh20, 000 bond or a Sh10,000 cash bail, with the case pushed forward to December 3, 2018.
