The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) executive director Oduor Ongwen has confirmed that one of the party's aspirants in the Kibra race has withdrawn.
Speaking on KTN on Friday, Mr. Ongwen said there were initially 24 aspirants.
The list of 24 aspirants was reduced to 11 after vetting.
One of the eleven withdrew, reducing the number to ten.
"It started with 24 applicants which after the vetting exercise came to eleven and finally one candidate withdrew so we have 10 aspirants who will be on the ballot tomorrow, " the ODM executive director said.
Even though he did not name the candidate who withdrew, there has been speculation that that candidate is Imran Okoth who is the brother of former Kibra MP Ken Okoth.
In the list that was released, the name of Imran Okoth was missing.

The ODM party is expected to carry out the nomination exercise on Saturday, hoping to get a candidate that will slug it out with candidates from other parties in the KIbra by-elections.
Amani National Congress (ANC) picked former Raila Odinga aide Eliud Owalo while the ruling Jubilee party picked veteran soccer star McDonald Mariga.
Mr Ongwen denied that the party has a preferred candidate, saying that the nomination exercise will be free and fair.
