Cooking chapati is not easy for some people. However, you do not need to be a professional chef to cook the best chapatis for your bae.

There are some simple basic tips to make your chapatis tasty and soft. Here are three tips to cook the best chapatis:

1. Add oil to the flour when kneading

It is common to make hard chapatis if it is your first time.

One of the ways to ensure that your chapatis are not only tasty but also soft is adding some oil into the flour before you start to kneading.

The oil will ensure that the flour doesn’t lose the moisture required to make them soft at the end of the day.

2. Choose the right pan size

The choice of the pan you are going to use when cooking your chapatis is very important.

It is recommended to get a pan with a thickness of at least 3mm

The thickness of the pan will regulate the flow of heat in the pan thus making the chapatis softer and tastier.

3. Duration

The chapatis should not take more than 60 seconds on the pan.

The longer they are going to stay on the pan the more likely they will lose moisture.

Make sure you remove them on fire as soon as they are ready.

It is recommended to cook them for 40-50 seconds before removing them from the pan.
