The fight against graft could after all be part of President Uhuru Kenyatta's main agenda if at all his latest remarks is anything to go by.
High profile individuals among them Supreme Court Judge Philomena Mwilu have been arrested as Uhuru stamps authority in graft war.
In an interview with the BBC, Uhuru said he's ready for lifestyle audit adding that the family will account for what they own.
“We can even go back to my grandfather, great grandfather. . . What we own, and what we have is known to the public.
"If there is an instance where someone can say what we have done is not legitimate, say it, and we are ready to face any court,” he said.
In June, Uhuru said all public officers will undergo the audit, remarks will did not go well with DP William Ruto's allies.
And when reaffirming war against corruption, Uhuru insisted that his family is not immune from prosecution.
“Regardless of who you are, even if you are my own family member, I have said that agencies are free to do their job,” he said.
