The two were involved in a bitter exchange of words on Twitter.

This came after the flamboyant lawyer in a tweet, bashed the Media Council of Kenya's threats to  New York Times over gory images in its publication on the Tuesday terror attack in Nairobi.

Korir further added that Kenya should instead look for equal playmates. He was referring to a letter by the council demanding to have the images pulled down by the international media firm.

"In threatening The New York Times, Media Council Of Kenya is engaging in puerile stands. It’s like Kenya threatening US or Burundi threatening France. Some threats are just stupid! NYT apologized. The Owner of NYT is as rich as Kenya. We should look for our playmates," Kipkorir tweeted.

Kipkorir's tweet didn't go well with Denis Itumbi. He claimed that Kipkorir had defaulted a Ksh 16 Million from the Postal corporation saying that he was burdening taxpayers.

"I guess when the Court ordered you to pay back some Sh16m to the defunct Postal Corporation.....it was just a small loan, that Rich people sometimes get from us, the errand taxpayers," Itumbi's lashed at the lawyer.

Kipkorir defended himself saying; "Ahmednasir is my friend, I’ve never taken handouts, I’ve never stolen .. Will never steal. You will never amount to anything in life .. you will always be an errand boy and a media terrorist."

The bitter exchange of words took the invention of former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo and senior counsel Ahmednasir who argued the two to calm down.
