The self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) leader said that Uhuru has no moral authority to talk about the nurses’ strike because he has not experienced a tough life.

The lawyer said that Uhuru was born and raised in State House and as such, he knows nothing about the grievances of nurses.

The lawyer cum activist, who was deported for taking part in the mock swearing in of NASA Leader Raila Odinga, also said that Uhuru inherited billions and large tracts of land from his father.

“Mr Uhuru Kenyatta was born at State House and inherited hundreds of billions of shillings and millions of acres his father, Jomo Kenyatta, had stolen from Kenyans. He does not understand what hunger, homelessness, or poor wages mean. Let him stop lecturing nurses,” he Tweeted.

The statement comes after national and county governments threatened to take stern action against nurses who are yet to report to work.

While issuing a joint press statement on Tuesday Health Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki and the chairman of the Council of Governors (CoG) Wycliffe Oparanya warned nurses against being defiant.

They also said that the nurses who will not change their stance on the strike will face disciplinary action.
