It's hardly two weeks since the mystery surrounding singer Otile Brown and ex-girlfriend Verah Sidika' break- up went viral in social media.
However, Charles Ogando, a shopkeeper operating at the Matatu stage in Kisii has a different view of the whole saga, especially on how to handle breakups.
1. A man should not hurl insults on a woman in a quarrel
"One of the lessons I have learnt, men should remain silent when women hurl insults on them. Had I been in Otile's shoes, I would have called Sidika names. But the way Otile handled the whole thing, made me learn a lesson." Ogando said.
2. Not all relationships last, some are meant to teach one a lesson.
When Otile produced a song by the name 'chaguo langu' some people criticized him. Sidika stood by him like a woman and shunned the 'haters'. But finally, everything went sour. Not all relationships last some come by to teach a lesson.
" I have also realized that not all relationships are meant to be. If Otile will date again, I guess he will be much keener not to taint his name in case the love goes sour." Ogando added.
3. A relationship should come after your career.D
Do not let women come before your career. This will really depress you when you realize like it cannot work between you. Otile should now embark his energy in his career. Let him rebuild his music and move it to another level.
"Also if you put your women forth, if anything happens you will live with depressions. However, if you have your career first, even if the relationship comes to an end, you will be hurt but channel your energy to your career and rebuild yourself." He said.
