Amani National Congress (ANC) Secretary General Barrack Muluka has hit out at ODM leader Raila Odinga and his Wiper counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka for whipping MPs from their parties to support the Finance Bill 2018.

Muluka said it was wrong for the two leaders to force legislators back the controversial bill, just like President Uhuru Kenyatta had done to Jubilee MPs.

He said since Raila and Kalonzo decided to work with Uhuru, they are no longer 'useful' and what is left of them is only to 'used' to push the Jubilee agenda.

"The two are the proverbial outsiders who weep louder than the bereaved. They have gone beyond their political sell by date. Raila and Kalonzo are a liability to citizens," he said.

He added: "They can only be relevant by blackmailing the nation with mayhem if they are not included in the State banquet."

In his weekly column, Muluka asked MPs to stand up against Uhuru, Raila and Kalonzo saying signs were clear that the trio was planning to kill Parliament.

"If the democratic voices in the three parties do not stand up to the big man syndrome, Kenya is headed to a bad place. Parliament must remain firm and reclaim its supremacy, for it is the voice of the people," Muluka wrote.
