Imagine if that workmate visited your home when you least expected?
Will you still maintain that personality the following day you meet at your workplace? I bet it is a big NO!
Sometimes our daily routines keep us busy and engaged the whole day until we forget crucial stuff like organising ourselves and our homes.
You come home late in the evening, and you just drop everything in the living room, starting with the handbag, to the socks and shoes, push them under the sofa or table. What if a visitor dropped his/her phone and went on her knees to reach it?
Your dis-organised house will automatically ruin your brand and reputation.
However, some small changes can make you a more organised person. These are:
1. Have a home for everything
Put your shoes, handbags, laptops, etc. where they are supposed to be.
Each item should have its own storage point, no mixing.
2. Don’t leave dirty dishes overnight
Don't go to bed without doing the dishes because this will only make the kitchen and the rest of the house dirty.
Make sure you clean the dishes on your sink before going to bed because you will just feel lazy to do it the following day hence making your house more disorganised.
3. Declutter
Get rid of what you don't use or need.
For instance, your old clothes which are only filling up space, give them to someone who needs them.
Apart from making your home more organised, you will also be helping someone, and God will bless you.
4. Come up with a cleaning schedule
This will direct and guide you with what to do at what time so that you don't spend the whole day doing dishes.
5. Immediately you get home, put everything away
Putting away everything does not mean piling all of them at one point of the house, no. Put everything at its specific place.
