Nyamira residents have reacted after Migori Governor Okoth Obado defended Justice Jackton B. Ojwang who is expected to be removed.
Ojwang refused to appear before the Judicial Service Commission over the misconduct allegations he is facing. JSC has since recommended for his remove.
Nyamira residents said Ojwang deserves removal and faulted Obado for defending him.
"Obado should focus on delivering to Migori people but, not defending Ojwang. Obado is not JSC to start defending the rogue Judge around," said a local Pius Mayaka.
Rodgers Onsombi said Obado's defensive remarks on Justice Ojwang should be ignored.
"Obado is not sincere in his defensive remarks on Ojwang. The country can't continue having people like Ojwang to serve in office earning salary which Kenyans pays huge taxes yet his integrity is questionable," said Onsombi.
Isaac Motari a Jubilee youth leader said Obado's resurrection to defend Ojwang shows that the two leaders have been colluding in dubious dealings.
"It is now a clear indication that Ojwang and Obado are cartels. The governor instead of delivering to his electorates he is busy defending Ojwang who has been on the spotlight over his questionable integrity," he stated.
