More leaders from Gusii region have spoken after ODM party was humiliated in the Ugenya and Embakasi South by-elections.
The leaders led by Nyamira County MP Jerusha Momanyi on Saturday, speaking in Nyamira, said ODM party is losing fame slowly.
"The latest defeat means ODM is no more. The party leadership need to go back to the drawing board and review their style of doing things," she said.
She applauded electorates in the two constituencies for dumping ODM candidates for candidates from other parties.
"Political parties should not belong to one tribe. I'm sure the terrible lose and humiliation has taught ODM a lesson ahead of 2022," she noted.
Victor Swanya Ogeto, the Wiper Party chairman, said the people of Ugenya and Embakasi South spoke in one voice.
"ODM need to know imposing leaders on the people is unacceptable. I'm happy Wiper clinched a seat in Embakasi South," he said.
Thomas Nyangaresi, a politician allied to ANC party, challenged Raila Odinga to retire.
"Raila need to join his old colleagues in retirement. He has lost presidency three times this means if he continues being in politics ODM party will be turned to be a village party," said Nyangaresi.
