Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen celebrated his client's victory, Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa after the Political Parties Dispute Tribunal on Friday ruled that her expulsion from ODM was illegal.
He said that the Tribunal was just in its handling of the issue.
"Congratulations to my client @HonJumwa for your well deserved victory at the Political Parties Dispute Tribunal," he wrote on Twitter.
The Senate Majority Leader slammed Jumwa's critics saying their bid to have her expelled from ODM and the Malindi seat declared vacant flopped.
"Your enemies in GOLDM were hanging on hopeless, primitive&archaic strategy to intimidate you," said Murkomen.
Murkomen further opined that absolution of the ODM rebel MP from any wrongdoing was a clear indication that Kenya has a mature and successful democracy.
"Your victory is the victory of democracy & equality before the law," maintained Murkomen.
Jumwa was expelled from ODM, March 2, 2019, for associating with Deputy President William Ruto and campaigning for his 2022 presidential bid.
The Tribunal at the time halted the process temporarily.
