Deputy President William Ruto has been invited toKisumu for a Church fuction on September 16, 2018.
According to Church officials who spoke to Standard, the deputy President has been invited to grace a fund raiser aimed at collecting funds for construction of the priest's house.
The church officials divulged that the DP had already confirmed that he will be present at the event.
‘’We are looking forward to hosting him, God willing,” said one of the officials as quoted by Standard.
This will be the second time the DP is visiting Kisumu after the disputed August 2017 election.
Reports indicate that DP Ruto recently visited the Lakeside city where he attended a wedding for an Asian couple.
During the event, the DP made a local key entrance where he did not address any congregation in the area.
