Nzoia Sugar dangerman Elvis 'Machapo' Rupia has signed for Zambian side Power Dynamos in what was described as a 'longterm' deal.
the Kenya Premier League top scorer becomes the tenth Kenyan player to enter Zambia’s top-flight, with many players in search of greener pastures ending up in the league.
He joins former Gor Mahia defender Musa Mohammed, who was recently signed by Nkana FC.
Rupia has initially played for Nakuru All-Stars, where he scored 15 goals in 23 matches.
He joins a Zambian side that currently lies 7th on the log, and will be expected to help in their push for a top position finish, even though they will have a huge task of overhauling the 16-point-gap set by leaders Zesco United.
The golden boot in the Kenyan league will now be contested by frontrunners; Gor's Jacques Tusiyenge and Zoo Kericho's Nicholas Kipkiurui, who have 11 goals each.
